A doctor does not diagnose on sight. They assess what is presented, examine the evidence, test where necessary and investigate further before reaching a diagnosis.
When The Assessment is useful
You may already know the question you need answered. You may only know that something isn't working. The Assessment is designed for both.
How assessment works
In professional practice an assessment precedes a diagnosis, and a diagnosis precedes treatment. The assessment gathers what is known, examines the context, and determines what further investigation is warranted.
Career, business and organisational matters work the same way. Some are sufficiently defined for a direction to be established within the session. Others require further consultation or analysis before a responsible recommendation can be made.
The alternative is a confident answer produced too early, acted on at cost, that turns out to have addressed the wrong thing.
What it is
The Assessment is a private 60-minute consultation in which we begin examining the matter through the Exodust Strategy Framework.
We look at the current position, the outcome being pursued, the assets and capabilities available, the external environment, the constraints involved and the routes that may be open.
The purpose is not to force a diagnosis or solution into 60 minutes.
Where the matter can be sufficiently understood within the session, we may establish a strategic direction and recommended next steps. Where it cannot, the Assessment identifies what remains unclear, what requires further investigation and the appropriate scope for continuing the work.
Complex organisational problems rarely lend themselves to responsible diagnosis in a single consultation. The Assessment provides an initial examination of the matter and determines the scope of any further analysis required.

The outcome depends on the complexity of the matter brought to the session. The Assessment does not manufacture certainty where further investigation is required. By the end of the consultation we will establish as much as the available information responsibly allows, including:
Sometimes the Assessment establishes the direction. Sometimes it establishes what must be understood before a direction can responsibly be recommended. Both are valuable outcomes.

Additional sessions
If the first assessment shows the picture is not yet complete, we will say so rather than reach for an answer. Further assessments are booked one at a time using the payment link provided to you, arranged only if you want to continue, and paid for before they are held.

Yes. Where further sessions are recommended, additional one-hour consultations are booked with the payment link provided to you: each one separately, and paid for beforehand. There is no subscription and no payment plan.
